Service Trident

A perceived need suggests one lead service. Then choose the organisational levels where you want to intervene.

A small conversation guide with an authored mapping. These selections do not diagnose a project or perform a maturity assessment.

Perceived needSuggested serviceIntervention levels

Try this: choose Performance, apply the suggested levels, then switch to Capability. Your selected levels remain until you deliberately apply the new suggestion or clear them.

1. Perceived need

Choose the problem signal that best starts the conversation. A real situation can involve more than one need; this toy begins with one.

2. Suggested lead service

Exactly one suggestion follows each need in this example. The mapping is a design choice; it does not establish the right service for a client.

3. Intervention levels

Choose any combination. Changing the need keeps your current choices; applying a suggestion replaces them.

Conversation summary

How the mapping works

The example uses a function from three needs to three lead services, plus a relation from needs to intervention levels. A function assigns one result to each input; the suggested levels can contain several values.

  • Capability → Capability Planning; suggested levels: Portfolio, Programme.
  • Maturity → P3M3 Assessment; suggested levels: Portfolio, Programme.
  • Performance → Programme Assurance & Recovery; suggested levels: Programme, Project.

You can depart from these suggestions when selecting levels. The app does not implement P3M3, check competence, assess outcomes or validate the chosen service. Nothing is uploaded or saved between visits.
