SEPTEMBER 2026 · SOURCE PRESERVATION
Keep the ideas.
Retire the repeated drafts.
The 2024–2026 studies asked how small building processes could become reusable project blocks. This consolidation preserves their distinct questions and calculations in three maintained essays, with historical workings available separately.
| Source idea | Maintained home and correction |
|---|---|
| 11 · Mix, Set, Lay; two workers, drawing, lintels and returned equipment; a closed Walling_One_Storey. | Essay 01 retains the complete two-worker boundary and direct mixer return. Both people have type BL; identities and multiplicity matter. Its peg kit is retained throughout Set/Wall as an explicit model choice. |
| 11 · Another course, leftover bricks/mortar and the line; first course may be different. | Essay 03 calculates residual materials and accumulated wall state. An emitted-course model needs an identity bypass for an earlier output; a growing wall needs the wall state as input. |
| 11 · Set versus Rel; signatures, tensor, permutation and whole-module composition. | Essay 02 distinguishes tuple-valued functions, rejection and relational alternatives. Multiple outputs do not require Rel. No category choice alone ensures worker availability. |
| 11 · Exact boundary order and repeated Lay boxes. | Named ports and complete ordered interfaces replace reliance on Graphviz declaration order. Cement/course and water/wall have distinct labels. A changed signature is not an identical reusable box. |
| 13 · Excavation through inspection, parallel fitting/roofing, returned excavator and scaffold. | Wider shell diagram in Essay 01 preserves all 27 original connections and adds Land. This architectural working is distinct from the executable prepared-site model; inspection output remains conditional and unimplemented. |
| 13 · Visible operad rules and an actual algebra; nested boxes. | Essay 02 provides interface colours, interpretation, typed laws and computed finite examples. A drawing alone is not an algebra. Associativity changes grouping, not task order; storage is not automatically an identity. |
| February · Accessible left-to-right wall/roof, formalism underneath, conditions for valid connections. | Essay 01 separates syntactic checks from explicit semantic guards. Release evidence can be challenged independently. Historical assistant claims are not treated as verified implementations. |
| February · Linear resources versus copyable information. | Preserved as an open design question: people/material may not branch silently; an information-copy operation would need explicit semantics and revision control. The present model threads one drawing through the processes; no mixed linear/cartesian theory is claimed. |
| Existing public working · static wall/roof contract calculation. | Essay 02 retains the full internal-variable predicate and its elimination. The original contract working remains accessible with clarified limits. |
| Existing public working · numeric algebra and discrete/continuous dynamics, downloadable Julia template. | Earlier algebra experiment retained with corrections: illustrative comparisons are not general proofs; manual coupling is not verified hybrid operadic composition. State/dynamics/schedules require their own semantics. |
What was duplication?
The separate DOT in 11 is reproduced in its transcript. All six separate artifacts in 13 are also present in its transcript; two original DOT pastes repeat, and the updated shell variants retain the same 27 connections. One early SVG is truncated. These are historical versions, not ten distinct research results.
What remains open?
Useful quantity, time, cost, risk and quality interpretations; explicit information copying with revision discipline; scaffold provision and inspection; contextual replacement guarantees; and whether reusable blocks repay their modelling cost across real projects. The house is an evocative first example, not the future use case itself.

Seven standalone artifacts are exact copies. The three prose records are public derivatives with private conversation identifiers, local routing metadata and internal generation commentary removed. They retain the construction and mathematical working, including failed versions; they are not exact raw conversation backups. Source papers remain at their publishers. Nothing from the private DEVONthink database is republished.

All corrections and new construction models are agent-assisted synthesis, checked against the cited papers and executable examples. Bounded tests establish behaviour of these demonstrations, not engineering suitability or human-use validation.
